Why choose Dig It Dog Grooming?

My salon is small and personable.  Unlike some places, you will know who is grooming your dog.  I believe that an essential part of providing grooming service is building a personal relationship with my clients, so that you will receive personalized service, and never be treated like a number.  My goal is to greet all of my canine clients by name.

Do you have a pet that is elderly or has special needs?  Your pet is welcome any time and will be treated with the utmost care and compassion.  Your pet will never be left unattended while in my salon.  I also have special equipment designed to help pets who have trouble standing for longer periods get through the grooming process safely and comfortably.

I won't tell you that you have to leave your dog with me all day. You will have your dog back in a few hours.  If you have multiple pets, it will take longer though.  A lot of groomers have dogs sitting in hot and dangerous cage dryers while they groom others.  While I might be able to groom more dogs in a day doing that, I will not do it. Hot cage dryers are not used at my salon. I hand dry all dogs with towels and a no-heat blow dryer. The comfort and safety of my canine clients is a top priority.

In addition to the bath, blow dry and style cut; a nail trim, sanitary cut, finish trim, paw trim, and ear cleaning are all included in any grooming.  My prices for a basic grooming package typically range from $20 for small, short-haired breeds that don't require a lot of scissor and clipper work to $75 for very large, long-haired breeds that require a lot of scissor and clipper work.  Prices may vary based on the dog's size and coat condition.

I do offer three different grooming packages with spa extras such as teeth brushing, a protective paw rub, aromatherapy, and an upgrade to an all-natural silk protein shampoo and conditioner made here in Minnesota.
